One-off workshop

Four-session workshop

Rap Therapy offers a one-off workshop for full classes, ranging from 1-2 hours.

Workshops are designed for a maximum of 30 students.

Learning outcomes include: rhyme schemes, team building games, metaphors, similes and writing development.

There will be one star student prize, where this student will receive a special prize from Rap Therapy.

Rap Therapy offers a block of four workshops, which takes place 1 hour per week, over 4 consecutive weeks.

Workshops are designed for a maximum of 8 students.

Learning outcomes include: rhyme schemes, team building games, metaphors, similes, writing development, practice, performing and recording music.

Students will work towards a team digital production (Rap Therapy provides all equipment).

There will be one star student prize per week, where a student in the group will receive a special prize from Rap Therapy.

Participants will receive completion certificates, performance prizes and will be eligible to enter Rap Therapy’s Bi-annual multi-school competition and have access to our network of recording studios.

Schools will be provided with reports which will include student assessments and preliminary mental health indicators.

 

Full year group workshop

Rap Therapy offers a full year group workshop which lasts either a half day or a full day.

Workshops are designed for year groups in both Primary school (Years 5 and 6) and Secondary school (Years 7,8 and 9).

We also deliver workshops for year 10 and 11 upon request.

Learning outcomes include: rhyme schemes, team building games, metaphors, similes, writing development, writing about emotions, writing from different perspectives and performing.

There will be two star student prizes, where students will receive a special prize from Rap Therapy.

All schools who use Rap Therapy will have access to a network of studios,

where students can record out of school hours for free.
